Kelsea Jacobsen joined CREF’s team in 2023. She is the staff lead for CREF’s education programs, including the Compost Operations Training Course, and provides broad support for programs across the organization. 

Kelsea holds a BA in Environmental Studies with a focus in Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems from the University of CA, Santa Cruz. Her previous roles include an array of experience with environmental education programming for all ages, most recently working with Solana Center for Environmental Innovation for 5 years on their composting education efforts.
