Liv has spent nearly a decade in the waste industry, dedicated to improving environmental outcomes and circular economy advancements. For the past five years, she has been involved in the organics management sector in Washington, serving as a Board member with the Washington Organics Recycling Council (WORC), a facility operator at the Woodland Park Zoo, and the Science and Permitting Manager for Engineered Compost Systems. She is a graduate of UC Berkeley’s College of Natural Resources, and is deeply passionate about supporting the composting industry with data-driven solutions. When Liv isn’t thinking about composting, you can find her gardening, cooking, and spending time with her husband, cats, and Icelandic horse, Rosa.
