This appendix provides an example of a comprehensive laboratory analysis for finished compost. In this case, the analysis was performed by the Agricultural Analytical Service Laboratory (AASL) of Pennsylvania State University (courtesy of Dr. John T. Spargo, AASL Director). The AASL is a participating laboratory in the U.S. Composting Council’s Seal of Testing Assurance program.
