Summer COTCs Are Heating Up!

Coming off the heels of a successful Georgia Compost Operations Training Course (COTC) in March, CREF is getting ready for two more courses in the coming months. The weather is heating up, and our compost piles will be, as well!

The first summer COTC will make an annual appearance in California (June 1 – 5), returning to the Central Valley for the first time since 2018. Next, we’ll host a COTC for the first time in Indiana (August 10 – 14).

The COTC equips facility staff, regulators, municipal staff, and other compost professionals with a hands-on, practical understanding of the full process of manufacturing and marketing quality compost. From expert lectures, to group pile building, to facility tours, the COTC provides an industry-leading experience to launch your career or deepen your composting acumen. We hope to see you at one of the upcoming trainings!
