Compost University is Now Live!

07/25/2022 12:55 PM

We’ve launched! With great excitement, the USCC along with the CREF is happy to announce our new industry-focused online learning management system, Compost University is now live!

Our goal with Compost U is to provide an on-demand educational resource for our members and industry professionals who are looking to advance their continuing education objectives and aspirations – while making it easy to overcome challenges caused by limited time and ability to travel.

Combining industry-leading content from USCC and CREF training and education resources -- such as conference talks, webinars, short classes and new longer advanced courses -- this new platform offers hundreds of digital coursework covering a wide range of business, science, management, safety, and technical topics which can be taken anytime, anywhere.

New Compost Scholars Program is also launched! Now everyone can earn Continuing Education Credits, automatically recorded and tracked in your USCC Profile, while Certified Compost Operation Managers (CCOMs) and Certified Composting Professionals (CCPs) will receive Professional Development Hours (PDHs) helping them maintain their credential.

Compost U is tied into the USCC’s database so you only need to sign in to your USCC account to access your Compost U course. If you are not ready to join the USCC you can still register with us so you can take courses and earn credits. Learn about the benefits of being a USCC member.

A couple of notes:
• If you are having an issue with your sign-in and you have not renewed your USCC membership, please be sure that you are a member in good standing before you proceed.
• If you run into any bugs, please contact us! We welcome your feedback.
• Celebrate Compost U Launch with a 25% Discount! To receive a first-time discount, just ask! Deadline to receive discount: September 30, 2022

Compost University will help USCC and CREF to bolster the industry and train this and the next generation of compost professionals.

Here’s to building your skills, and in turn, building a strong composting industry!
