Across the globe, nations are taking note of a potential soil crisis on the horizon. Leaders are coming together in the International Year of Soil to raise awareness internationally and here in the U.S.

At the recent US Composting Council (USCC) Annual Conference in Oakland, California, Matt Cotton (pictured above), of Integrated Waste Management, and Rhodes Yepsen of Novomont, were “inaugurated” as co-chairs of the USCC's Compostable Plastics Task Force.
